A transfer passenger is a passenger who arrives at a given airport and continues his or her journey by air from the same airport.

Warsaw Chopin Airport belongs to a group of the so-called ‘transfer airports'. Its infrastructure is suitable for quick and smooth handling of passengers in transit, enabling them to use all facilities available in passenger handling zones.

The movement of transfer passengers at the airport depends on what their destination is and where their plane is parked. Separate transfer routes are available for the Schengen area passengers and those from non-Schengen countries.
