The first month of activity zones Kiss & Fly Chopin Airport in Warsaw proved that the designated time of seven minutes is enough drivers to enter and leave the zone without additional cost.
Success of the Kiss & Fly zone at Warsaw Chopin Airport
According to the statistics of the "Polish Airports" State Enterprise, which manages the largest airport in the country, 98.8 percent of the drivers had no problem to leave the zone within seven minutes.

- We are pleased that the introduction of the zone Kiss & Fly was met with a positive response from the vast majority of passengers of the airport and the inhabitants of Warsaw. In the online survey of one of the most popular portals of the capital, the launching of the zone was welcomed well by 83 percent of the participants. It is very important, because the purpose of the zone was to arrange the traffic in front of the terminal and provide access to the building for all the passengers and airport users - says Cezary Pytlos, acting spokesman of Warsaw Chopin Airport.

The airport is testing new solutions, which will make it even easier for the drivers, e.g. a system of plates identification.

Starting zone Kiss & Fly is the next step changes in the organization of traffic at the airport.

From the moment you receive an entry ticket and enter the Kiss & Fly zone, until you leave, you are being timed. The first seven minutes are free, stop from 7 to 15 minutes costs 30 zlotys, and above 15 minutes it is calculated 1 zł for minute.

In the Kiss & Fly zone of Chopin Airport 89 parking spaces were created (over 160 percent more than before the change of traffic organization), including 5 spots for the disabled. Free stop is only possible, when the vehicle enters the zone Kiss & Fly less often than every 30 minutes. Drivers pulling up in front of the terminal should also remember that it is prohibited to leave the vehicle unattended - the car can be towed away at the owner's expense.
