Priority at security checks

Families with small kids get priority going through security control.

Baby care rooms

There are 19 baby care rooms in Terminal A, each one equipped with a baby changing table, sink and baby feeding chair.

Pushchairs

Pushchairs are available in the transit area, right after security. The pushchairs are marked with the symbol of Fryderyka the Elephant and can be used free of charge.

Play areas

There are 3 playgrounds for children over 3 in the Chopin Airport departures area. 2 in the Schengen transfer zone and 1 in the Non-Schengen transfer zone. Currently, due to epidemic reasons, all of the playgrounds are closed.

Children’s Shop

Chopin Airport’s boasts a number of duty-free shops offering items for kids, including one dedicated children’s shop.

Airline facilities for children

Airlines provide a range of facilities for passengers travelling with children, such as: ticket discounts, the right to take a pushchair or car seat on board, cradles for kids flying long-haul or assistance for unaccompanied minors. Some of these services are provided for a fee. Check with your airline for more information.
